Yes, a security deposit is required when renting a vehicle from Instant Car Rentals. The deposit must be paid before vehicle pickup and is held separately from the booking charge. The amount of the deposit varies depending on the vehicle type and payment method. More information can be found by going to the "Deposit Requirements' tab under reservations.

We accept both debit and credit cards. For rentals with an out-of-state license, a credit card is required. Currently, we do not accept prepaid or fin tech cards such as Cash App or Chime.
